- Happily married for twelve years as of January 2010. We have two beautiful sons born in December 2005 and November 2008. Since our firstborn's birth I've had high aspirations to create a website and scrapbooks to document his life. I've not gotten to either project, so I thought this blog might be an easy way to get started. Careers: I left a five-year job in advertising (my college degree) in 2000. In 2001 I found a great job in research administration (if you don't know what that is, you can ask but be prepared for a seemingly boring explanation). My husband got a job at a different car dealership around the same time I quit my old job. We've been so much happier since making these changes.
