The mayor is following us...

My brother's family with twin boys X 2 arrived last Saturday for a week-long visit (from Florida). The last time they visited was in January 2006, right after Logan was born and while my SIL was pregnant with the second set of boys. We went to a Hornets professional basketball game when they were here in 2006 (the twins did not go). Logan was only about three weeks old and slept through all but the last couple of minutes of the game. Toward the end of the game I happened to look at the seats behind us and saw OKC's mayor sitting a few rows behind us.

Last Sunday during this visit, we went to a Redhawks baseball game (brother; SIL & her parents, uncle, and brother; older twin boys, Logan; Justin and me). I got up in probably the 3rd inning to get some drinks and snacks. Again, a few rows up in our section, there's the mayor. I just thought it was really weird that the only two times I have seen the OKC mayor up close in person have been while my brother's family is visiting from half a continent away.
